第20屆國家新創獎於昨（27）日舉辦頒獎典禮，遠東醫電科技公司以「海上船艦緊急醫療會診平台」榮獲國家新創獎之企業新創獎殊榮。不僅肯定遠東醫電在智慧醫療領域的創新，也印證該公司實踐「精進救生救難，保障民眾安全」使命。此外，遠東醫電已爭取到未來兩年相關單位國艦國造醫療設備及軟體平台訂單，將替公司營運挹注顯著的成長動能。
此次為遠東醫電首度參與國家新創獎評選，便傳出捷報，以「海上船艦緊急醫療會診平台」經評審推薦榮獲「企業創新獎」，評審認為該平台具體實現醫師與船艦人員進行即時影音視訊互動與聯繫，達到緊急即時照護目的，對於四周環海的台灣海上醫療十分重要。當日頒獎典禮由遠東醫電董事長暨總經理鄧俊男上台領獎。
遠東醫電長年投入研發在高軌道衛星的遠距醫療會診平台，取得海上醫療會診多項發明專利，開發「海上船艦緊急醫療會診平台」，使其可以在高軌道衛星的有限傳輸頻寬，透過壓縮及解壓縮技術完成影音及影像三方視訊，即時將傷口資訊、生命徵象等無縫接軌到醫院醫師端；而船上緊急醫療設備（EMS）病況會透過遠東醫電開發的EMS平板傳輸，進行自動檢傷分類，並與後送醫院互通。此外，醫院端的主責醫師在收到通知後能快速開啟平台，在不同的資訊安全環境進行三方醫療會診，海上醫療人員運用 AR/VR 系統，透過清晰的影音畫面，立即快速處理病況或傷勢。
鄧俊男表示，過往船艦在海上航行，如遇醫療救援任務時，因船艦上醫療資源較缺乏，只能透過三方視訊回報現場狀況，無法同步處理急症病人狀況，而海上通訊品質易受天候及衛星訊號影響，故遠東醫電認為建立一套彈性化的海上遠距醫療會診平台有其必要性。透過「海上船艦緊急醫療會診平台」，結合智慧醫療設備與大數據分析，實現海上遠距會診服務，可望提供更多高品質的服務，提升救護品質及效率，大幅提升海上緊急醫療救護能量，讓海上艦艇船員可以有更安全的任務環境。
此外，遠東醫電亦成功將「海上船艦緊急醫療會診平台」推廣至企業及醫療院所，2022年結盟台灣國際造船公司、國軍左營總醫院，在海運公司貨櫃商船、海巡署艦艇）上成功進行三方醫療會診及開刀會診，此舉創下亞洲海上遠距醫療開刀會診成功首例。
遠東醫電自第2023年第一季起陸續交貨予台灣國際造船公司，同時公司也已爭取到明、後年相關單位國艦國造醫療設備及軟體平台訂單。鄧俊男表示，遠東醫電將持續以自家研發優勢，結合台灣各大國際醫療服務中心、電信公司，共同建立全球一站式醫療轉介服務中心。
「海上船艦緊急醫療會診平台」日前在2023台灣醫療科技展展出，獲得熱烈迴響，國防部長邱國正、常務次長黃佑民及軍醫局局長蔡建松等多位軍事將領相繼至遠東醫電展位參觀，均對這項國防至關重要的醫療平台感到高度興趣以及表達重視與關切。
