歷時三個月審查驗證 臺灣穀物產業發展協會：盼更多品牌響應
臺灣民眾膳食纖維普遍取不足，顯示全穀飲食還需大力推廣。社團法人臺灣穀物產業發展協會(以下簡稱臺灣穀物協會) 多年來致力於提高全穀及非精製雜糧的攝取，為提供國人更多元的市售全穀產品參考，歷經三個月申請審查及籌備，今日(12/27) 正式宣布已有首批全穀標章驗證通過，明年開始，民眾將有更快速辨識全穀產品的參考標準。
主導全穀標章啟動的臺灣穀物協會第四屆理事長賴喜美表示，透過全穀食品驗證標章作為民眾安心選擇之管道，已成為全球各國推動全穀食品的不二法門，此次全穀標章推動獲得不少廠商積極響應，而桂格燕麥片是成功獲得臺灣全穀標章驗證的首家品牌大廠，通過的品項主要包括桂格即沖即食大燕麥片、桂格有機大燕麥片、桂格原片原味大燕麥片等類別產品，獲得100%全穀含量之「全穀100」標章。

提高全穀食品的攝取已經成為國際重要趨勢！相較於精製穀物，全穀保留麩皮與胚芽。一般來說，胚芽及麩皮雖只佔穀物的10~20%，但營養成分卻不容小覷，有微量營養素如維生素Ｂ群、維生素Ｅ及多元不飽和脂肪酸，更可提供相當含量的膳食纖維與植化素(生物活性物質)。國健署資料顯示，民眾因為對全穀認知不足、挑選困難，導致全穀飲食不普及，因此，強化市場辨識性、推動全穀標章驗證制度勢在必行。
臺灣穀物協會表示，依據衛福部「全穀產品宣稱及標示原則」規定並參考歐美各國作法，以「每份產品全穀所佔公克數」訂定驗證標準，全穀標章以「全穀100」、「全穀51+」、或「含25%+全穀」三種數字呈現，分別代表全穀百分比為100%、51%以上、或25%以上，數字越高、代表該產品之全穀比例越高，幫助民眾自我評估每日食用全穀含量是否足夠。
桂格即沖即食/桂格有機/桂格原片原味大燕麥片 囊括全穀100驗證前三名
佳格食品集團於新年來臨之際，率先於2023年底成為臺灣第一間通過「全穀標章驗證」的食品大廠，不僅如此，桂格即沖即食大燕麥片、桂格有機大燕麥片、桂格原片原味大燕麥片三項產品更囊括全穀100驗證編號前三名，顯示對全穀食品推廣積極重視。
臺灣市售之桂格燕麥片由佳格食品集團臺灣製造，燕麥原料100%來自澳洲，使用整顆燕麥不經切割製成，保留燕麥中的水溶性膳食纖維，產品更獲得多項保證，而上述三項產品在完成發證後，桂格燕麥片也將成為臺灣第一個通過的全穀食品品牌；
桂格即沖即食大燕麥片，獲得不易形成體脂肪與調節血脂兩項健康食品認證，及A001001「全穀100」驗證標章；
桂格有機大燕麥片，原料通過澳洲有機NASAA驗證、製程得到臺灣慈心有機TOC驗證，及A001002「全穀100」驗證標章；
桂格原片原味大燕麥片，獲得調節血脂功效之健康食品認證，及A001003「全穀100」驗證標章；
臺灣穀物協會表示，越來越多科學證據顯示提高全穀食品的攝取對國人健康有多元好處。全穀纖維幫助消化健康，有鑑於各年齡層皆有膳食纖維攝取不足現象，且年齡越輕攝取越不足，期盼未來更多廠商響應加入全穀標章驗證行列、共同推動全齡飲食健康。
