強颱「樺加沙」重創花蓮，因堰塞湖潰堤導致光復鄉房舍毀損、交通中斷，居民一夜之間面臨生活困境與醫療短缺的狀況。災情傳出後，中化控股率領旗下中化製藥與中化裕民即刻啟動支援行動，與花蓮縣衛生局及衛福部食藥署緊密協調，迅速完成合法贈藥程序，將藥品與民生物資直送花蓮光復鄉，為當地居民送上最即時且最實際的援助。
即時送藥行動 快速支援醫療需求
災後泥沙遍布、環境潮濕，容易出現皮膚紅腫、搔癢與傷口感染及呼吸道不適等症狀，救災中心也提出急需感冒藥、消炎止痛藥與外用藥膏。
中化立即調度自家生產與旗下代理品牌的物資，包含8,000條醫院指定使用、無類固醇的消炎止癢止痛藥膏，共約20,000件日常必備的醫藥物資。
同時，考量到災後居民生活起居需求，特別準備牙刷、牙膏、乾洗手等民生必需用品超過400箱逾200萬元，透過專車直送光復鄉，由衛生局統一分配，確保資源能夠符合規範、並即時送達有需要的居民手中。
與政府協力 合法合規送達每份關懷
此次捐贈不同於一般物資支援，藥品、醫材屬於特管品項，必須遵循食藥署規範並取得贈藥許可，才能合法分配使用。中化秉持「誠信至上」的企業精神，以誠實、透明與負責的態度，依照主管機關規範流程，也特別感謝食藥署協助企業在最短時間內完成申請、使得藥品安全合法快速地送到災區，讓捐贈藥品的行動能真正發揮效用，確保民眾健康安全。
