食品藥物管理署(食藥署)於4月21日要求駿億、鴻彰及財源3家蛋雞場生產的雞蛋及其下游4家盤商所有的涉疑雞蛋，須於4月22日下午3時前完成預防性下架，截至2017年4月23日14時止，衛生單位累計出動130人次，清查688家次，預防性下架雞蛋數量約為6785公斤。
食藥署、農委會及環保署將持續進行跨部會源頭蛋雞場之調查，以釐清污染源及保障國人食品安全為目的。食品業者如仍持續使用3家蛋雞場及其下游4家盤商所有的涉疑雞蛋仍未下架之業者，將依食品安全衛生管理法第47條規定處3萬元以上300萬元以下罰鍰。
