衛生福利部食品藥物管理署（下稱食藥署）提醒民眾及業者，自106年7月1日起製造之塑膠食品容器具，應全面依食品安全衛生管理法（下稱食安法）第26條標示，並同步揭露產品相關資訊，以保障消費者知悉產品資訊的權利。
食品器具、食品容器或包裝之衛生安全，與其使用方式有密切關係，為使食品業者及消費者能清楚瞭解產品相關資訊及注意事項並正確使用，食藥署持續加強食品器具、食品容器或包裝之標示管理，於105年4月18日公告修正「應標示之食品器具、食品容器或包裝品項」，並同時公告「食品器具、食品容器或包裝標示相關規定」，自106年7月1日起製造之食品器具、食品容器或包裝，若食品接觸面含塑膠材質，則均應依食安法第26條標示，且須同時讓消費者知悉產品適用於接觸食品、為重複性或一次使用等資訊，並明確告知使用該產品的注意事項，以利消費者正確使用。
食藥署強調，業者產製各類食品容器具或包裝時，應確保產品符合「食品器具容器包裝衛生標準」等規定，同時應依法明確且如實標示其產品資訊，提供消費者選購參考；民眾購買食品容器具或包裝時，應注意產品標示內容，選購標示完整之產品，並依標示說明正確使用，產品如已有刮痕、變霧、缺口、破裂等情況，應即更換新品。以上相關資訊均可參見食藥署網站（http://www.fda.gov.tw/）首頁/業務專區/食品/餐飲衛生/食品容器(具)及包裝專區。
