近年來台灣人赴上海、韓國接受醫美療程的風潮興盛，據韓國健康福利部統計，2023年韓國醫療院所治療來自近200個國家的旅客，人次超過60.6萬，而雖然台灣不是人次第一高的國家，但成長率是當中之冠，高達866%，換算2023年約有1.2萬名台灣人到韓國接受醫療服務。「境外醫療轉介」以低價及退稅政策吸引不少消費者，但背後隱藏著手術安全、宣傳行銷違法、高抽成（50%以上）業務招攬手段，加上術後追蹤困難、語言文化差異、醫療責任歸屬不明、真假貨難辨識等風險，病患權益難以保障，更隱藏國家經濟和安全危機。產業協會除了呼籲政府正視違法轉介行為之外，也強調台灣醫美擁有嚴謹的法規核心，以保護消費者的健康安全，且提供客製化科學治療方案，能帶給消費者更精準、安全、有效的醫美體驗。
在醫美產業耕耘超過20年、台灣醫學美容品質保障協會理事長 曾毓娟表示：「醫美產業的核心價值不應只停留在價格與行銷的競爭，而是回歸專業、品質與責任。台灣醫美不僅擁有國際水準的醫療技術，更具備完善的醫療責任制度與術後照護機制，同時也提醒消費者在選擇療程時務必認明原廠正貨，以免因貪圖低價而承受安全風險。唯有堅持正規產品與專業醫師操作，才能確保療程效果跟安全性，讓醫美真正發揮提升自信與生活品質的價值。」

參與此次計畫單位包含台灣美容醫學產業全國聯合會、台灣醫學美容品質保障協會、星醫美學集團、星和醫美、淨妍醫美集團、佳醫集團、晶鑽生醫股份有限公司、尚凌醫美診所、逆時整形外科診所、瑞倍佳美容醫學中心、魅力必緹診所、巨興醫學科技股份有限公司、思必瑞特生技股份有限公司、博訊生物科技股份有限公司、星誠細胞生醫股份有限公司、兆寶生技有限公司、星美光電儀器股份有限公司、高德美大藥廠、可若夫生技股份有限公司，也呼籲更多單位加入協力推動，讓「台灣醫美=公益+專業」成為新品牌形象。
當中，由星醫美學集團推出的超預防醫學線上諮詢平台，集結了台灣細胞治療百大認證名醫，共同為患者把關療程安全，提供專業諮詢，讓整體計畫兼具醫學專業權威及公益透明性。台灣美容醫學產業全國聯合會理事長 蔡豐州表示：「除了協助病友走過癌後修復的重要階段，更是台灣醫療生技產業向國際展現專業與公益價值的實際行動。此計畫背後凝聚了全聯會的巨大號召力、生技產品臨床佐證、診所團隊醫療能力以及百大名醫專業背書，擁有多重保障，台灣醫美不只是讓人變美的產業，更是承擔起公益與專業責任的力量。」
對患者而言，這項計畫不僅能減緩癌療後的皮膚不適，更能在專業醫師的陪伴下重拾自信，提升生活品質；對產業而言，眾多醫美診所共同參與公益行動，展現了醫美產業的社會責任，也在國際間建立「台灣醫美皮膚修復」的專業形象；醫療層面上，百大名醫的專業參與不僅保障了療程安全，也將累積更多臨床數據，推動台灣在預防醫學上的全球影響力。
已服務超過上萬名乳癌病友及長期康復者的乳癌防治基金會，於此次計畫中將協助進行癌後病患關懷，乳癌防治基金會董事長 張金堅教授表示基金會可幫助調整病友的身心狀態，維持與社會的連結，擁有更好的生活品質，並重新找回正常生活的步調與樂趣，也期望各方基金會能共同參與。除此之外，星誠細胞生醫將提供旗下產品-修秘凍晶予協助推動此次計畫的單位，知名醫美品牌-星和醫美也將率先響應此公益贊助計畫，承諾旗下診所每家每月提供5個免費治療名額給癌症術後患者，以此作為示範。星和醫美創辦人林信一指出，癌症治療中許多放療、化療藥物價格昂貴，因此此類公益活動更顯重要，星和醫美將利用現有資源，如幫助皮膚修護的修秘凍晶等產品用於公益照護，形成公益網絡。
