知本老爺酒店深耕台東33年，宣布於3月1日啟動大規模煥新計畫，預計9月重新開幕。因應當代旅人對深度體驗的追求，本次改裝跳脫傳統飯店修繕思維，聚焦於「體驗重塑」與「在地共感」。透過空間硬體的全面升級，結合南迴線的深度遊程，以及台東在地旬味的餐飲革新，知本老爺將從單純的住宿點，轉化為旅人探索台東生活風格的起點。
本次改裝重點鎖定三大體驗升級。首重餐飲革新，那魯灣自助餐廳將引入「產地到餐桌」概念，呈現台東風土滋味；次為親子友善空間，全新打造寓教於樂的兒童育樂室，提供結合玩中學的分齡教具，滿足現代家庭的放電需求；三為療癒場域再造，心采風呂與寬SPA全面換上溫潤木質設計，營造沉靜放鬆的私密氛圍。此外，同步於公共空間導入友善環境建材，翻新機電設備以提升舒適度，透過食、遊、住的全面進化，回應當代旅人對質感度假的期待。

休館改裝期間，知本老爺服務不打烊。團隊將與「台東慢食創生基地」及「翠安儂甜點餐酒館」展開限時合作，由飯店主廚進駐，以在地食材呈現職人料理，延續老爺款待精神。知本老爺自3月1日起暫停館內餐飲、溫泉與住宿服務，期待於9月以全新面貌，迎接旅人回歸體驗專屬台東的療癒時光。
