高雄市發生氣爆事件後，社會各界立即投入緊急救難工作，並抱持己饑己溺的關懷心情，紛紛表達捐款幫助災區民眾意願。為提供民眾捐款之用及專款專用管理，中央及地方政府已設立有數個賑災專戶，包括衛生福利部設立的捐款專戶（戶名：衛生福利部賑災專戶，帳號：中華郵政股份有限公司50269506），捐款請註明：「高雄氣爆救助專款」。
有關各政府賑災專戶相關資訊可至衛福部網站查詢或撥打全國福利諮詢專線「1957」，每日上午 8 時至晚上10時，有專人接聽，提供捐款方式說明。
