【早安健康新聞中心】爸爸媽媽一定不能錯過這個好康！3月30日到4月6日，12歲以下小朋友看牙醫憑健保卡就免掛號費。
為降低台灣學童齲齒率， 衛福部與牙醫師公會全國聯合會一同號召全台多家牙醫院所，一起帶動鼓勵兒童定期看牙醫的風氣。
根據國健署調查，台灣12歲兒童齲齒、缺牙或填補牙齒的數目，雖已由2000年的3.31顆、降至2012年的2.5顆，但仍高於世界衛生組織（WHO）訂定少於2顆的目標。而WHO訂定口腔衛生指標到2025年更降為1顆。
牙醫師公會全國聯合會調查顯示，有4成的父母未定期主動帶孩子到固定診所看牙，對於自己的小孩吃完東西後是否刷牙都不知道，才導致齲齒率居高不下。
這項活動目前已有1500多家牙醫院所響應，接下來全台共6000多家牙醫診所還會陸續加入，家長可以到牙醫師公會全國聯合會網頁查詢最新名單。
