台灣出現今 (2015) 年第2例本土麻疹確定病例，由於個案於可傳染期間之5月7日、8日及12日曾搭乘大眾交通運輸，呼籲曾於該時段搭乘該項交通運輸工具的民眾，請自主健康管理18天，若出現發燒、出疹等疑似症狀，應戴口罩儘速就醫並主動告知醫師相關接觸史。
疾病管制署表示，目前個案居家隔離中，並掌握114名接觸者，包括親友、同事及就醫時曾接觸之相關醫護人員與病患，截至目前僅一名親友因出現疑似症狀安排採檢中。另民眾如有發燒、鼻炎、結膜炎、紅疹等症狀，應儘速就醫，並主動告知醫師相關旅遊及暴露史。
疾管署呼籲，家中如有滿1歲之幼兒應儘速攜往衛生所或合約院所完成MMR疫苗接種，以降低感染機會；如為自然感染免疫者不需再施打疫苗。相關資訊請參閱疾管署麻疹專頁或撥打國內免費防疫專線1922(或0800-001922)洽詢。
