台灣新診斷癌症人數不斷攀升，根據國健署111年癌症登記報告，平均每4分2秒就有一個家庭被癌症打亂生活節奏，情緒壓力也跟著升溫。明年元月起，「癌症希望基金會附設心理諮商所」正式營運，這是全台第一個專屬病友和家屬的心理諮商所，提供免費心理諮商服務，同時串接心理健康照護網絡，讓癌友家庭找回與病前行的力量。
心理照護是癌症治療不可或缺的一環，2018年起，癌症希望基金會在台北、台中和高雄希望小站提供癌症病友和家屬心理諮詢服務，同時納入癌後性諮詢，由心理師協助梳理情緒，增進心理自我照護的能力，近3年總計服務近500 人次。為提升服務量能和可近性，今年進一步在台北籌設心理諮商所，12月中旬取得台北市衛生局核准執照，成為全台第一個取得心理諮商所開業執照的癌症非營利組織，明年元月正式投入服務，癌友和家屬的心理照護也邁向新里程碑。
HOPE接住癌友家庭 6次免費心理諮商
國內外研究顯示，近半數的癌症病人出現明顯的情緒困擾，而且約有3至4成的病友面臨顯著的焦慮或憂鬱反應。癌症希望基金會執行長蘇連瓔指出，「隨著醫療科技進步，台灣癌症5年存活率已突破6成，這也意味著心理健康支持是當前重要的公共課題，然而癌後心理照護長期缺乏系統性的資源，費用負擔大、可近性低，我們希望透過心理諮商所補足缺口，不漏接每一位病友和照顧者，陪伴他們修復內在的韌性，慢慢長出接住自己的能力。」
癌症希望基金會附設心理諮商所的誕生，象徵台灣癌症照護正逐步走向全人照護的新階段，不只是讓病友「活下來」，更要癌友家庭「活得好」。蘇連瓔表示，癌症希望基金會將繼續推動「癌友及家屬心理支持補助案」，由心理師視個案需求，提供單次或連續性心理諮商，每人最多可有6次免費個別諮商，或最多4次免費伴侶/家庭諮商，不但優於政府現行心理支持政策，也延續基金會溫柔且堅定的使命：「癌後生活領航，助癌友家庭育成新力量」。
心理腫瘤專業團隊 陪伴病友和家屬找回力量
不同於其他心理諮商所，癌症希望基金會附設心理諮商所延攬心理腫瘤學（Psycho-oncology）專業的心理師團隊，貼近病友及家屬的疾病治療和心理需求，甚至心理師本身曾經歷罹癌或照顧者的心路歷程。所長葉北辰是抗癌長達20多年的諮商心理師，一路從醫院工作走向社區心理健康服務；副所長靳秀麗不但是諮商心理師，過去長期照顧罹患肝癌的母親和患有淋巴癌的父親，熟知病友與照顧者的處境和心理支持的獨特性。
「在這裡，你不需要花很多力氣解釋醫療名詞，我們可以更快地進入那些你真正想說，卻一直沒有機會好好說的核心。」癌症希望基金會附設心理諮商所所長葉北辰說，「心理師將陪伴病友面對確診衝擊、治療焦慮、復發擔憂與預後不確定性，關注身體形象改變、自我認同重建，以及回歸生活的適應歷程，同時協助病友處理睡眠困擾或癌因性疲憊、醫病溝通與醫療決策思考，並透過正念減壓與身心整合練習，幫助身體與心理重新對話。在這裡，也希望成為家屬放下重擔的安心驛站。」
全方位心理支持 接軌HOPE照護服務
癌症希望基金會附設心理諮商所副所長靳秀麗提醒，「身體會在我們心理撐不住之前，先替我們發聲。」多項統合分析證實，焦慮與憂鬱會顯著增加癌症死亡率與全死亡率。此外，病人的情緒困擾會蔓延，導致照顧者耗竭和家庭衝突。
這裡不僅是心理諮商所，也是癌友家庭的心理支持基地，提供多元的心理健康服務。葉北辰與靳秀麗以心理師身份主持Podcast 節目《癌後心理很有事》，讓心理支持突破突時間和空間限制；現階段也推出「心情溫度計線上量測」，幫助癌友及家屬了解心情狀態和情緒調適資源；接下來還規劃心靈講座、減壓練習電子衛教手冊等，這些不只是一項心情工具或活動，而是能即時接住癌友家庭情緒的溫暖陪伴。
心理照護更不侷限在諮商所，還將進一步串接癌症希望基金會既有的服務，病友在治療過程產生新的疑慮與照護需求，心理師將同步轉介希望小站，由護理師和社工師提供相關服務，形成完整的身心照護網。此外，心理師團隊也會與基金會聯手設計親子營隊、支持團體活動，有效地將心理觸角延伸至不同群體，讓他們更好地應對癌症，減少情緒困擾，提升生活品質。
