有關「遠東油脂股份有限公司」疑涉使用逾期的無水奶油及回收逾期的乳瑪琳製成其18項產品(原19項，扣除重複1項)一案，截至2017年3月15日14時止，地方衛生局累計出動稽查人次為842人，下架產品約44公噸，稽查對象包含早餐店、烘焙業及各大通路商等，共計稽查3,582家次，若食品業者仍販售或使用「保存期限為2017年3月8日至2017年9月30日」之18項產品，依法可處3萬元以上300萬元以下罰鍰。
食品藥物管理署(下稱食藥署)重申，食品業者應於3月13日晚上12時前完成下架並停止使用該公司「保存期限為2017年3月8日至2017年9月30日」之18項產品，相關產品品項可至桃園市政府衛生局網站查詢。
食藥署再次強調，依食品安全衛生管理法第7條第5項規定，食品業者於發現產品有危害衛生安全之虞時，應即主動停止製造、加工、販賣及辦理回收，並通報直轄市、縣(市)主管機關，違者依同法第47條第2款規定，可處3萬元以上300萬元以下罰鍰。
