繼昨（8）日行政院與高雄市政府達成氣爆重建五共識，在登革熱防治方面，衛福部邱文達部長立即指派疾管署郭旭崧署長率疾管署病媒傳染防治科陳主慈科長及高屏區管制中心張朝卿主任，親赴高雄市與高雄市政府衛生局何啟功局長進行協商，並與何局長的團隊達成五項共識，秉持專業同心協力，防治登革熱。
1. 聖嬰現象加氣爆事件，導致今年登革熱防治異常棘手，預估今年病例數雖不及星馬上萬，但勢必逾千。
2. 登革熱本質為環境病，大小孳生源若不清除即無法斷源，因此即使困難重重，環境孳生源清除仍不可鬆懈，其中又以社區住民自主動員為關鍵。
3. 登革熱防治策略應隨疫情發展作調整，才能避免資源錯置，同時應加強醫療體系整備，早期發現個案並早期給予治療，以減少重症個案發生。
4. 中央與高市府已達成共識，由衛福部派員進駐高雄市協助登革熱防疫工作，但巧婦難為無米炊，敦請行政院同意衛福部所請之經費支援。
5. 為長遠之計，我國登革熱防治策略應擴大與國際合作，投注更多國家資源與量能，研發防治新科技，如加入國際登革熱疫苗研發的行列，以期運用新科技，澈底抑制登革熱的危害。
