以單車、跑步軌跡記錄聞名的 App 公司 Strava，日前宣佈與 Sequoia 合作，取得美金 1,850 萬元的投資。另外既有的投資者 Sigma West 和 Madrone Capital 繼續投資，這筆錢將會用擴充公司規模。
「Strava 以打造未來會用到的運動社交網站的方式，就像今日 Facebook、Linkedin 開發今日的社交或專業人際網路。」Sequoia Capital 主席 Michael Moritz 說。
Strava App 有 Premium 的進階版，提供更多功能。Strava 透過 App 收集使用者的運動軌跡，經過匿名處理，與市政當局合作用在城市規畫用途。
「我們從一開始就專注在打造鼓勵以及維持全球運動員的社群。」Strava 創辦人及 CEO Mark Gainey說。「當 Sequoia 加入，我們能在更好的位置上，達成我們的使命，並且鞏固 Strava 在數位運動領域的領先地位。」
