冷氣團來襲,氣溫驟降,民眾習慣吃薑母鴨、羊肉爐、藥燉排骨等藥膳「補冬」。不過,中醫師指出,並非人人都適合隨意進補,尤其慢性病患者更要小心,進補過頭恐怕有上火反應,引起痔瘡、流鼻血、頭痛等症狀,建議先諮詢醫師再選擇適合的藥材,以溫補藥膳即可。
11 月 7 日是農曆節氣的「立冬」,民眾多會在此時來進補。台北慈濟醫院中醫部中醫內科主治醫師楊淑君指出,冬季是適合養生進補的季節,中醫說「冬不藏精,春必病溫」,建議冬令進補是調養身體的好時機,可應付寒冬及儲備身體能量。
然而每個人體質不同,選擇適合的進補方式相當重要。楊淑君舉例,體質偏寒者適合溫補,體質燥熱者則適合涼補或平補;一旦補錯了或補過頭,反而會對身體造成傷害,引起痔瘡、流鼻血、頭痛等上火反應,尤其糖尿病、高血壓、痛風及心血管疾病患者更要小心。她建議,進補前最好先諮詢中醫師,再選擇適合的藥膳。
除了進補養生外,楊淑君也提醒,冬天作息應「早睡晚起」,早睡能保養人體陽氣、保持身體溫暖,在太陽出來後起床,可避開清晨低溫,呼籲年長體弱者,避免在寒流或大風大雨時外出運動,以免發生中風、心肌梗塞等心血管疾病。
