園區內的成美公堂算是成美園發展最重要的基石，始建於清光緒11年（1885年），歷經百年歲月風霜。
暑假期間遊客規劃出遊，其中位於彰化縣永靖鄉的成美文化園是近年中部最受歡迎景點之一，上百棵的紫薇花搭配園區內百年日本黑松、真柏、羅漢松、楓港柿等珍貴樹種，除步行欣賞美景外，還能選擇在園區內的景觀餐廳中坐下來細細品嘗，一窗之隔欣賞園區內的珍木奇岩，近日成美文化園執行長章嘉和接受專訪，分享園區的歷史背景、修復過程以及未來的發展計劃。
永靖鄉是福佬客聚集的鄉鎮，早年以花草和中藥聞名，當地融合了福建、客家和閩南文化，基金會創辦人魏應充與其兄弟們在永靖家鄉生活超過一甲子，眼見永靖家鄉往昔的輝煌漸漸褪色，決心飲水思源、為故鄉做些什麼，才一步步累積至現今成美文化園的規模。
此外園區內的「禪風庭園」，遍植稀有百年古樹，像是220歲的日本黑松、550歲紫檀（楓港柿）、柏庭、百日紅等；除豐富的文化底蘊、禪風庭景和豐富的生態，還提供各種深度體驗課程，如非遺文化漂漆扇、彩繪羅黏香、植感手作體驗，搭配節慶的元宵節湯圓、端午節肉粽和香包等深度體驗課程，讓遊客親身體驗園區的文化魅力，讓遊客親身作體驗和感受這座園區突顯的文化魅力。
