台灣是水果王國,尤其夏天是水果的盛產季節,許多水果又甜又好吃,有西瓜、芒果、鳳梨、香蕉、水蜜桃等。最近天氣熱,讓人食慾大減,許多民眾會選擇吃水果果腹;營養師指出,水果富含多種天然營養素,有益身體健康,但要注意食用的份量,以免糖分攝取過多。
台大醫院營養部組長陳珮蓉表示,吃水果的好處很多,水果含有豐富的纖維質,能夠幫助腸胃蠕動,預防發生便秘、大腸癌,維生素及礦物質的含量也很豐富,尤其是人體所需維生素A、C及鉀、鎂等,能夠促進身體代謝、預防疾病,具有抗氧化、延緩老化等功效。
「雖然吃水果的好處很多,但要注意份量的攝取。」陳珮蓉強調,一般來說,每天至少要攝取2份以上的水果,而一份水果的份量約為一個拳頭大小,或是相當於3分之2碗,例如一顆蘋果、半根香蕉就是一份,而西瓜、鳳梨等體積較大的水果,份量則要以碗計算。
陳珮蓉指出,最近天氣炎熱,不少民眾會把水果當成正餐食用,不但容易營養不均衡,也會造成糖分攝取過多的問題,當過量的水果吃下肚,會使三酸甘油酯飆高,增加罹患肥胖、糖尿病等疾病的風險。
